Liverpool largest and best car showroom has had installed large tropical Palm trees and office plants throughout the complex.
Surrounding the magnificent selection of cars, are office plants in the managers offices and client seating areas using metallic silver round containers. The main event in the complex is three metre double stem `Veitchia merrillii` palm. These large palms are planted into the best marine grade stainless steel round containers with a volcanic rock top dressingThe client proposal was to enhance all the showroom areas with tropical plant displays but without distracting from the motor cars. These large plant displays were designed to have a clear stem so the view of the cars is not restricted but above this line of sight the foliage starts.
Another client request was that the showroom layout is continually being changed with new cars and promotions throughout the year. As a result we listened to what the client wanted and installed custom castors to the base of the planters to ensure ease of movement throughout the showroom.
A year has passed since the installation and all the tropical plants are growing very well and fully acclimatised into the atrium environment. The maintenance program is working well with consistent foliage feed needed for the large palm displays.
